The Month Prickly tag is hand-stamped and rough polished by us — giving it that perfectly imperfect finish that gets better with every wear. Made from solid brass, built to last, designed to stand out. 7 letters max.

A note on brass — it naturally oxidises over time and develops a patina that adds character. It can occasionally leave a greenish tint on lighter fur. A quick polish keeps it looking fresh if you prefer.

The keyring is a sacrifice piece — it's designed to take the beating so your tag doesn't. Keyrings can and do get lost over time, especially on active dogs. The tag hole itself will also wear down gradually with daily jiggling and movement, and can eventually break. This is normal for any stamped metal tag. We recommend checking both regularly and replacing the keyring when it looks worn — spares are available in our store.
